About Data Directions

Data Directions is a small business set up by Bill Donaldson.  Bill has a Masters Degree in GIS and over 15 years experience in providing GIS services. 

In particular Bill has detailed knowledge of the application of MapInfo and Discover to geological exploration (both mineral and petroleum), having been an exploration geologist in Canada for eight years, and then working for companies such as MapInfo and Encom in Australia. 

Bill has now branched out to provide GIS training and solutions to a diverse range of companies in the business areas of: Exploration; Environment; Native Title; Local Councils; Telecommunications.

In recent years, Bill has expanded his services to include ArcGIS, so that solutions provided are the best for your business.
